10月31日，合肥新华公学融合部小初开展了一场集运动竞技与学科创意于一体的校园活动，跳绳学院赛与数学纸飞机大赛轮番上演，为校园注入满满活力。

On October 31st, IID PYP&MYP held a campus event that combined sports competition and interdisciplinary creativity. The Inter-college Rope Skipping Competition and the Mathematics Paper Airplane Competition took turns to unfold, infusing the campus with vitality.

绳韵飞扬，学院竞技展风采

Ropes Flying, Inter-college Competition Shows Elegance

龙、凤凰、骑士、魔法四大学院的学子们在体育馆展开跳绳个人赛与团体接力赛的激烈角逐。

Students from the four major colleges - Dragon College, Phoenix College, Knight College, and Magic College - competed fiercely in the individual rope skipping and team relay rope skipping events in the gymnasium.

个人赛中，选手们绳影翻飞、身姿灵动。龙学院学子节奏明快，凤凰学院选手技巧与力量兼备，骑士学院学子尽显坚毅，魔法学院选手创意频出，场边加油声此起彼伏。

In the individual competition, the contestants moved nimbly with ropes flying. Students from Dragon College showed a brisk rhythm; those from Phoenix College combined skills and strength; students from Knight College demonstrated great perseverance; and contestants from Magic College came up with many creative ideas. Cheers from the sidelines rose one after another.

团体接力赛考验协作与默契。各学院衔接流畅，跳绳传递间满是团队信任与凝聚力。龙学院接力行云流水，凤凰学院一鼓作气，骑士学院尽显力量，魔法学院创意十足，各学院在协作中收获成长与荣耀。

The team relay competition tested cooperation and tacit understanding. Each college's team had smooth transitions, and the passing of the rope was full of team trust and cohesion. Dragon College's relay was smooth and seamless; Phoenix College's team went all out in one go; Knight College showed great strength; and Magic College was full of creativity. All colleges gained growth and glory through cooperation.

纸鸢逐梦，数学创意绽光彩

Chasing Dreams with Paper Planes, Mathematical Creativity Shines

数学学科纸飞机大赛分为创意设计与飞行距离赛，让学子们在创意与科学中玩转数学。

The Mathematics Paper Airplane Competition was divided into the creative design competition and the flight distance competition, allowing students to explore mathematics through creativity and science.

创意飞机设计展区作品琳琅满目，有的绘满星空，有的融合几何元素，有的嵌入“四大学院”标识……学子们热情讲解设计理念，投票环节热闹非凡，学科与艺术的碰撞在此尽显。

In the creative airplane design exhibition area, there were a wide variety of works. Some were painted with starry skies, some integrated geometric elements, and others embedded the logos of the "four major colleges"... Students enthusiastically explained their design concepts, and the voting session was lively. The collision between academic knowledge and art was fully displayed here.

飞行距离赛上，选手们反复调整投掷角度与力度，将数学力学、几何原理融入实践。纸飞机腾空时，场边欢呼不断，学子们在竞技中深化了对数学知识的理解。

In the flight distance competition, contestants repeatedly adjusted the throwing angle and strength, applying mathematical mechanics and geometric principles to practice. When the paper airplanes soared into the air, cheers from the sidelines continued. Through the competition, students deepened their understanding of mathematical knowledge.

本次活动是运动与思维的双重盛宴，展现了融合学子积极向上、勇于探索的风貌。未来，让我们继续以热情和创意，在校园里书写更多精彩!

This event was a dual feast of sports and thinking, showing the positive and exploratory spirit of IID students. In the future, let us continue to write more wonderful chapters on campus with passion and creativity!

At the IID PYP&MYP，the four houses—Dragon, Phoenix, Magic, and Knight—weave a diverse campus tapestry through their distinctive character spirits: Dragon House embodies integrity as its backbone and inclusivity as its ethos, radiating magnanimity; Phoenix House centers on compassion and expresses it through courtesy, conveying warmth and goodwill; Magic House takes innovation as its wings and courage as its sword, pioneering uncharted territories; Knight House upholds diligence as its shield and inquiry as its spear, steadfastly pursuing the path of truth.
