With the fragrance of autumn in the air and the return of eager students, the Xinhua Academy Integration Department (PYP and MYP) held its grand opening ceremony for the new academic year in the school auditorium on September 5, accompanied by the soothing melodies of a piano performance. Faculty, students, and parent representatives gathered with great enthusiasm to embark on a new chapter together.

The ceremony commenced in a solemn atmosphere. Principal Wolly delivered an enthusiastic speech, encouraging students to "find yourself and forge your own path." She emphasized the importance of self-exploration, embracing failure, and daring to try new things in order to realize one’s unique value. Her words, filled with deep blessings and high expectations, set a motivated tone for the new semester.

Several student representatives took the stage to share their reflections and aspirations.Mia Sun from Class G3-2, representing PYP students, recalled her growth at Xinhua Academy and expressed great anticipation and clear goals for the new semester.

Li Zexiu from Class G6, representing MYP students, shared how he found effective learning methods and joy in studying with the help of teachers and classmates, leading to significant progress.

Wang Chengyang from Class G1-1, representing new students, expressed his genuine eagerness for knowledge and excitement about the learning journey ahead in the Integration Department.

G4-1班雷庭岳同学的妈妈作为家长代表发言。她分享了“爱其所择，择其所爱”的感悟，倡导“三人行，必有我师”的谦逊学习态度，并鼓励所有人成为终身学习者。她还特别强调了珍惜健康的重要性，温情寄语赢得了全场共鸣。

The mother of Ryder from Class G4-1 spoke as the parent representative. She shared insights on "cherishing one’s choices and choosing what one loves," advocating for a humble learning attitude with the phrase "If three of us are walking together, at least one of the other two is good enough to be my teacher." She encouraged everyone to become lifelong learners and emphasized the importance of valuing health. Her heartfelt message resonated deeply with the audience.

活动的最后一项是温馨而庄重的“青蓝师徒结对”仪式。经验丰富的老教师与年轻新教师结对，旨在通过“传、帮、带”的形式，促进教师团队的专业发展和教学相长。年轻教师向师傅敬献鲜花，不仅象征着知识的传递，更展现了融合部教师团队互学共进、团结一心的强大合力。

The final segment of the event was the warm and solemn "Mentorship Pairing" ceremony. Experienced senior teachers paired with new younger teachers to promote professional development and mutual growth through guidance and collaboration. The junior teachers presented flowers to their mentors, symbolizing the transfer of knowledge and highlighting the powerful synergy and unity within the Integration Department’s teaching team.
