为切实加强学校消防安全，增强校园火灾防控能力，加大消防安全宣传教育力度，提升全体教职工的消防安全意识，9月3日，高新消防大队走进合肥新华公学，开展了消防安全知识培训教育活动。

Today the 3rd September we invited Zhao Junjie, the Battalion Chief of the High-tech District of Hefei city, to provide a professional training in the auditorium on fire-fighting for all faculty and staff. The training was organized to improve fire-fighting awareness and teach necessary skills to prevent and fight fires.

在培训中，高新消防大队参谋赵俊杰首先结合近几年发生的典型火灾案例深入浅出地向我校教职工讲解了学校、家庭防火注意事项以及疏散逃生、如何快速报警、如何使用灭火器、自防自救技巧，号召广大师生将消防安全知识和学习、生活紧密结合，不断增强自身消防安全素质。

The audience were startled by the fire disasters in short videos played by Mr. Zhao and realized the very importance of awareness. So the lecturer introduced some helpful skills in practice. The knowledge includes the telephone number and the procedure to report a fire, skills to prevent fires at home and methods to use fire extinguishers. More importantly, he taught the staff how to escape a fire through the exit passage.

随后，赵俊杰同志解读了《中华人民共和国消防法》及相关消防安全的管理规定。并针对教育系统消防安全的特殊性，重点对如何加强校园消防安全管理，学校内部如何做好防火检查，发生火灾如何报警，如何正确使用灭火设施，如何扑救初期火灾，如何引导人员疏散逃生等内容进行了介绍。

The lecturer then interpreted some important rules of the Fire Prevention Law of The People's Republic of China. His interpretation focused on measures that a school should take to prevent and control fire, to guide the staff to survive the disaster if a fire disaster takes place.

本次消防技能培训，不仅使教师增强了安全消防意识和逃生技能，也为我校的教师积累了“应战”经验。希望教师通过本次学习，在日后的生活中，练就自救本领，共筑校园“防火墙”。

Thanks to the significant and useful training, the staff and students now know how to fight against a fire and create a secure environment in Xinhua Academy.
